Steven Bohr makes a bold statement that the gift of tongues as seen at Pentecost was manifested in the Old Testament at the tower of Babel. This is wholly wrong! The NT gifts are for the edification of the beleivers, the preaching of the gospel, and are given to the church in obedience to God. The creation of tongues at Babel is a curse, not a blessing for the church. The people of that day were in rebelion against God's command to spread out, were not His faithful, and were not intending to spread the gospel! This is a wholy unBiblical teaching, and is not in harmony with the churches understanding and teaching, nor that of the Bible. Not Recommended.
