At approximately 12:05 min. the statement is made that sin entered through, “The eating of the apple.” The statement that the forbidden fruit was an apple can not be supported by the Bible. This same teaching has generated unnecessary phone calls in the past. At 12:35 it is stated that, “We were born immortal… after sin we became mortal.” This statement will likely generate calls considering the Bible says the following: 1Ti 6:14 …until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 16 Who only hath immortality…. The only One who has immortality offers conditional immortality to mortal man. The condition is righteousness and the continual partaking of the tree of life. 1 Co 15:51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed… 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
