In this presentation, Pr. Bohr presents that just as in Christ’s day His true church was born out of a misunderstanding of the prophecies concerning His first coming, so has it been with the establishing of His end-time remnant church. It is an interesting take on the rise of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and its divine appointed origin. I APPROVE of this message for airing with the following comments noted: Concerns: 1. He dates the program during the opening prayer…”thank you Father for the Sabbath…” 2. At around 2:00 – 2:30 he states that John the Baptist had a misunderstanding of prophecy which caused him to be disappointed. I don’t believe the Bible alludes to a disappointment as much as a possible period of doubt. 3. Pr. Bohr latter states (on a recapitulation of his first sermon of this series) that John the Baptist received a visit from an angel of the Lord who enlightened him regarding the prophecies, and then he was able to die there in peace. My concern is that Scripture does not hint to this at all. For a global audience with many an influence from other sources labeling us as a cult, this could be better stated in a way that will not fuel more suspicion.
