Review Comments: Recommended. This was an excellent presentation on the health laws given by the Lord and how they can benefit us. Note: For some reason this presentation was never placed on the queue; possibly because it came in DVD form. There is no recollection of it being reviewed in pastoral though. The reason it came to our attention is because of a complaint emailed to us. The complaint stated that the speaker likened God to a mother and that they could find nowhere in scripture where this is so. I carefully reviewed the entire program until, at the very last 15 seconds, the speaker mentions (in his closing prayer) that the Lord cares for us like a mother does her children. There are at least two examples in scripture that God illustrates his care and love for the lost by the role of a mother. Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
